Pimar and Officina di Architettura have created and developed, in partnership with leading European companies in the sector, a one of a kind particular ventilated TIS (Thermal Insulation System), with Pimar Limestone final coating, with high thermal and mechanical performance.
For physical and technical reasons, vapor diffusion and heat stagnation to name a few, we do not recommend the direct bonding of stone coatings to thermal insulators.
We recommend our TIS as a definitive solution because with a single intervention you can achieve the advantages of redeveloping the facade within a prestigious urban context, managing the thermal component and guaranteeing greater mechanical strength.

Advantages over traditional coats

• The use of 100% environmentally friendly wood fiber insulating panel guarantees excellent thermal performance in both summer and winter climates, and is particularly suitable even in hot areas.
• The ventilation of the facade / wall by means of the support sheath of the covering allows the expulsion of water vapor in diffusion and prevents the onset of frost damage and efflorescence.
• Our ventilated TIS acts not only as a coat but also as a support for the coating with the double tessellation that stabilizes the entire structure and allows versatile use even on poorly adherent substrates such as paints or wet plaster.
• The finishing coating in Pimar Limestone slabs adapts to any type of design, is resistant over time with routine maintenance.
