Alvaro Siza is a Portuguese architect, whose projects combine the concept of modernity with the recovery of traditional techniques and materials. He came in contact with Pimar in 2008, when he held a lectio magistralis in collaboration with the order of architects of Lecce at Pimar. Thus, his creative collaboration with Pimar was born: some of his art works-sculptures made of Pimar natural limestone are still exposed in Lecce.
