We would like to introduce you to BIOSTONE, Pimar's project for environmental sustainability made from production waste from our quarries.

Together with the University of Salento and the Polytechnic University of Bari, experimental tests have been carried out to be able to use our BIOSTONE in various architectural projects, to mention just one, The 'Cornice' shelter and 'Nastro' bench project by architect Giuseppe Fallacara in collaboration with Ferrovie del Sud Est , made entirely with limestone production waste.

A highly innovative product, with a low environmental impact, eco-friendly also in terms of renewable energy as clean, self-produced energy was used to crush and recompose this material, based on the total recovery of recycled water.
